El primero jugaba por primera vez contra su ex-equipo, y lo hacía con su mejor marca anotadora de la temporada. El segundo, más discreto en la anotación, aportaba intangibles y exquisitos movimientos de espaldas al aro en los que volvió a hacer gala de la fama que le precede.
Con Sullinger en pista +15.
A ellos se les unió Pierce en el tercer cuarto, cuatro de las primeras cinco canastas de Boston llevaron su sello. Y Rondo. Menos activo de lo habitual de cara al aro (igualó su peor marca anotadora de la temporada: 6 puntos), pero más eficaz que nunca si sumamos rebotes (9) y asistencias (16), y lo que es más importante, tras promediar 5 pérdidas en los últimos 3 partidos, ante OKC solo dejó escapar 2 balones.
El último cuarto fue un combate a cuatro entre KG & Pierce Vs KD & Westbrook que se resolvió a favor de los primeros.
